Crimson Trace
Crimson Trace
Laser Grips are designed to replace the factory grips without
the use of specialized tools. It will not be necessary to use a
special holster as the Crimson Trace Lasergrips do not interfere
with most holsters. The Lasergrips once installed must be
sighted in which usually only takes a few minutes.
(
Please note that when adjusting the laser to use slight
adjustments, it doesn't take much to get the laser adjusted)
Crimson Trace's
Warranty Department has always responded quickly to any
questions or repairs (We've not had to send many in for repair,
so this is based on limited experience).
As a side note, a
laser is a tool to aid in shooting. It is not a replacement for
front sight focus, quality training and practice.

A laser is an
excellent training tool and under the correct conditions can be
very helpful in a defensive situtation.

Lasermax
Lasermax Internal Lasers are a one
of a kind laser which replaces the guide rod of select semi-auto
handguns. The 1st internal laser was for a Glock product and
they have expanded to several mfg. There is no documented case
of a Lasermax internal laser causing a malfunction to any brand
of firearm. Installation is simple. If you can
take our gun apart to clean
it, then you can install the lasermax. The only installation
problems that have surfaced is when replacing the take down
retention spring. A few people have put to much butt behind it
and snap the new spring. If this happens contact Lasermax and
they will mail you one. LaserMax's new
upgraded captured guide rod spring assembly for the Glock is a
wonderful feature that makes assembly much easier. Make sure
you keep the front lens clean or you could end up with the beam
being off center. Just simply wipe it down every now and then
with denatured alcohol using a cue tip.
We've found LaserMax's warranty
department to be quick to respond to our customers problems. The
only issue we have with them is that they consider the end cap
to be a wearable part and charge for replacements. This is only
a small issue that would not stop us from 100% recommendation of
the LaserMax. As a side note, a laser is
a tool to aid in shooting. It is not a replacement for front
sight focus, quality training and practice.

Aimshot
Aimshot provides a variety of Red
lasers for handgun and long gun. As well as the super bright
Green laser for long guns.
The Red lasers
from Aimshot are very conservatively priced. They are designed
to use their dedicated mounts of a variety of applications. We
have never been a big fan of lasers in the price point that the
Aimshot falls in until we played with the Aimshot. Our
gunsmiths are impressed with the stability of the solid aimshot
laser mounts. Our warehouse has only stocked the aimshot
products for a few months. We can only give you limited
information as regards to durability. To date we've only had one
problem with the red lasers and the mfg had a replacement to us
within 5 business days.
Green lasers:
These are the neatest AR15 accessories to come along in quite
some time. They are very bright and can be seen in the daylight.
We've installed a few on our personal AR15 rifle and love them.
In fact the 1st time I used my laser was in the middle of a
foggy night. The green beam could be seen over 1000+yd, not just
the impact point but the entire beam across the field. We didn't
care for the scope ring mount, so we stole the sleeve and used a
Vltor ring to install the 12Mw green laser to the side of a
Surefire picatinny handguard. In our last order we had bad
pressure switches on 2 out of 35 green lasers. Aimshot replaced
them very quickly.
